Teaching Philosophy

Maya begins with a foundational belief that classical music should be made accessible to all students. Having worked with students ranging from age 3 to 20, she strives to instill a love of music and musical expression in all her students, while also pushing their technical ability.

Lesson Info

Maya offers 30 minute, 45 minute, and 1 hour long lessons. Lessons are taught in Brookline. For more info about rates and lesson details please contact her!

Studio

Maya works to create a community within her studio offering semesterly recitals, community concerts, studio classes, and chamber music opportunities for her students!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Maya! She is an incredibly talented musician, but what truly sets her apart is her gift for teaching. Maya is exceptionally patient, kind, and warm, creating an environment where our son has thrived and grown to love violin. Her thoughtful feedback is always encouraging and constructive, keeping him motivated and excited to learn.
